Josh has been a professional photographer and videographer for 18 years and has served as a Scientific Photographer at NASA’s Johnson Space Center since 2017. From engineering tests to astronaut training to mission control operations, Josh documents subjects and events of importance to NASA’s human space flight effort.
As a former staff photographer and photo editor for WIRED magazine, Josh curated photography for the web and regularly photographed products, still-life, and portraits across the brand. Josh holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Visual Journalism from Brooks Institute, where he was selected to participate in the industry renowned Eddie Adams Workshop (EAWXXV).
Prior to Brooks, he served as a Mass Communication Specialist in the Navy, where he spent five years reporting and producing stories for radio, magazine, and televised broadcast. His military assignments have taken him from the high-intensity environment of a flight deck to remote island nations throughout the Pacific. His images have appeared in countless publications online and in print throughout his career.
